Ken Weeden, President
Ken is the lead trainer and founder of the National DBE Training Institute, and President of Ken Weeden & Associates. For more than 40 years, Ken has been responsible for directing, preparing, coordinating, or serving as project support for a variety of transportation planning projects. He is a nationally recognized expert in all aspects of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE/ACDBE) Program, under 49 CFR, parts 26 and 23, with experience dating to 1980 and the beginning of the program.

Kevin Weeden, Senior Vice-President
Kevin is a Senior Trainer with the National DBE Training Institute with 20 years of experience with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program and the Airport Concessions DBE (ACDBE) program. Kevin has prepared DBE programs and updates for over 100 airports throughout the southeastern and mid-Atlantic US. He has also prepared ACDBE programs for numerous airports.

Wilfred Nixon, Vice-President
Wilfred is a Senior Trainer with the National DBE Training Institute, specializing in report development, good faith effort reviews, and monitoring and enforcement requirements. Wilfred has 18 years of expertise in the development of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Airport Concession DBE programs, as well as triennial goal documents for numerous airports of all sizes.

Danielle Andrews, Business Manager
Danielle plans and organizes institute training classes. She also oversees all office operations — from invoicing, billing and records management — and provides administrative support to all National DBE Training Institute executives.

Nikki Jefferies, Training Coordinator
Nikki helps plan and coordinate training institute classes. She assists with the development of USDOT- DBE and ACDBE goal methodologies and administrative/management programs for Airports. Nikki also plans and manages the logistical elements of community outreach for Stakeholder input and engagement.
